The man or a woman in a marriage is to be nurse, doctor, therapist, helper, preacher, good listener, and guide to the other spouse; in other words a person who will help the other person in life. Both people have past problems and will have future problems and the two together are to help the other by giving their hearts to one another in thought and action. God chooses the RIGHT person to help you and who connects with you spiritually and will get on well with you for the rest of your lives. The depth of the relationship will grow with time.

There is no RUSH to go head long into love when they need to get to know one another's likes and dislikes. These things take time, and time is what they both have plenty of if they allow this. As we grow up had friends, brothers and sisters. This is to help prepare us for marriage. The man and woman are to be BEST FRIENDS. To share all the fun of the future and even while bringing up a family together. The most treasurable moments in their lives are in each other’s arms. They have nothing to prove to old friends, family or society-only to prove their gentle love for one another. Pas friends and family take BACK SEAT to the new marriage.

The new family is about THE TWO IN LOVE and the NEW BLESSED RELATIONSHIP formed by GOD. Neither person should let OLD FAMILY AND FRIENDS interfere in the forming of greater power love that GOD has put together. Marriage is about forming of a relationship and this happens from the moment of total commitment. This is why both partners are supposed to have prepared themselves for this moment and all their lives.

WE were born to be married in GOD'S name to have a family to bring up GOD'S children, to serve willingly one another and to serve GOD. Marriage is a wonderful commitment. Society today seems to have turned it into a game and turned the people away from commitment. We must try and bring it back to fill our hearts with love, a partner, GOD and our children.
